[SpecialAgentGibbs] Folks I would like to address a potentially serious issue for those that have dinar reserves...
[SpecialAgentGibbs] As I was reviewing the TNT call transcripts today, something came up that I've shared before BUT, now is a good time to refresh it...
[SpecialAgentGibbs] During the call, someone asked about getting their dinar reserves shipped POST rv...
[SpecialAgentGibbs] The answer given was that Sterling still planned to do so...
[SpecialAgentGibbs] As it currently stands, that just MAY not be possible....
[SpecialAgentGibbs] POST rv, your dinar reserves will surely have incredible value...
[SpecialAgentGibbs] Value so high that FedEx will not insure it for it's POST rv value
[SpecialAgentGibbs] Except as limited below, the maximum declared value per package in any FedEx First Overnight, FedEx Priority Overnight, FedEx Standard Overnight, FedEx 2Day A.M., FedEx 2Day or FedEx Express Saver shipment is $50,000. The maximum declared value per shipment for FedEx Same Day is $2,000.
[SpecialAgentGibbs] Except as limited below, the maximum declared value per piece (single handling unit) in any FedEx First Overnight Freight, FedEx 1Day Freight, FedEx 2Day Freight or FedEx 3Day Freight shipment is $50,000
[SpecialAgentGibbs] The maximum declared value for FedEx Print Return Label and FedEx Email Return Label shipments is $1,000 for FedEx First Overnight, FedEx Priority Overnight, FedEx Standard Overnight, FedEx 2Day A.M. and FedEx 2Day, and $50,000 for FedEx 2Day Freight and FedEx 3Day Freight. The maximum declared value for FedEx Express Tag shipments is $50,000.
[SpecialAgentGibbs] UPS :
[SpecialAgentGibbs] $50,000 or local currency equivalent for a package shipped when a UPS account number is provided.
[SpecialAgentGibbs] $1,000 or local currency equivalent for packages returned via UPS Print Return Label, UPS Print and Mail Return Label, Electronic Return Label, or 1 UPS Pickup Attempt, Return Services
[SpecialAgentGibbs] $1,000 or local currency equivalent for a package shipped via a third-party retailer if the package was previously manifested before it was given to the retailer.
[SpecialAgentGibbs] $999 for packages shipped authorizing UPS to deliver the package without requiring a signature on delivery.
[SpecialAgentGibbs] I surmise that most will see my point on this subject...
[SpecialAgentGibbs] IF you have reserves, you might want to start planning an alternative to recieve them POST rv
[SpecialAgentGibbs] It would most certainly be in each persons best interest to educate themselves on any & ALL possible pitfalls, and have multiple plans of action mapped out accordingly!
[FLPatriot59] Good evening, Castle friends. Very SpecialAgentGibbs has been giving some great info tonight and I would like to add some important info I received directly from Sterling to make sure we're all on the same page.
[FLPatriot59] First, if the value of your currency is $50,000 in USD or less to exchange, then you will be required to mail your currency in for the exchange. Sterling Currency Group will overnight you a company check for your currency. THIS IS ONLY IF YOU ARE EXCHANGING WITH THEM & DOES NOT PERTAIN TO RESERVES.
[FLPatriot59] "Second, If you have more than $50,000 in USD to exchange you can set up an appointment to come to Atlanta. Your appointment will have to be scheduled through our website via ticket or chat, or you can call us at 1-888-346-2771."
[terrib] FLPatriot59 what about reserves? i'm sure thats what people are concerned about
[FLPatriot59] "Third, if you have $5 million or more in USD to exchange we will come to the nearest airport with commercial air service from at least two air carriers serving it for an exchange within the US."
[FLPatriot59] So, as I understand from my chat with Sterling and this transcription of that chat, when you payoff a reserve with Sterling, via web ticket or chat, and have more than a net of $50K USD, they will arrange to have you pick up the paid off reserves OR fly it to an airport of your choosing.
[FLPatriot59] When I asked which method would be quickest, I was told "picking up the currency in Atlanta" would be fastest.
[FLPatriot59] Thanks, again, to SAG for pointing out the fallacy of expecting Sterling to ship you via FedEx millions of dollars worth of foreign currency post-RV.
[FLPatriot59] I think it's imperative that those with reserves make plans to either get to Atlanta to pick up paid off reserves, or wait for Sterling to arrange one of its reps to fly to your location.
Personally, I'm not waiting that long for them to fly here.
Can you imagine the backlog of travel they would be arranging?
