Bizhawk: those funds [DFI] were released on Monday
Warrior: know they were released but what do they have to do with the R.V? does it matter?
Kboom: Warrior= DFI- Develoment Fund for Iraq- umm yeah, it's RV'd $ to rebuild their infrastructure so.. yes it does imo
Gswoo13: Warrior it was mentioned on call 4/9 so i think it is tied...DC: The DFI are really important – those are the funds the US and others have been protecting from lawsuits and such. It’s primarily going to be used for reconstruction of Iraq, with a lot of jobs. Those DFI were explicitly put in the rules, and an open part of the revaluation. Those were released Monday evening, on various news sources. That is a big, big deal, with 196 billion dollars released just for that.
Kboom: gswoo- congreed- and Tony added: Those funds were not to be released until AFTER Reval
Bizhawk: IMO releasing or preparing to release the DFI is a signal EVERYTHING is lining up
Gswoo13: AGAIN Warrior Those DFI were explicitly put in the rules, and an open part of the revaluation. Those were released Monday evening, on various news sources. That is a big, big deal, with 196 billion dollars released just for that.
Whalers: the dfi funds are huge statement ....but when is the rv happeing.....it should be real soon ....if this goes past april then something is wrong for sure
DAZ: WARRIOR...TH DFI WAS ABUT PROTECTION OR SOVERIEGN WEALTH. TO RELEASE THOSE FUNDS MEANS THAT IRAQ NOW HAS A MECHANISM IN PLACE TO PROTECT THAT WEALTH (VALUE) AND NO LONGER NEED THE PROTECTION FROM CREDITORS AND CLAMS

PursuitofTruth: A friend of mine is in the Admirals group as is their entire congregation. Their guy has been waiting in Reno for days and finally she texted word that Monday is their day and 40% is the tax rate. The source is not prone to lying so I have to believe she was telling me what she was in good faith.
KBoom: Pursuit- Monday for Admirals? Taxes aside- that is a KEY imo… 40 percent would equate to the full short term (100% of) cap gains if that's the case
PursuitofTruth: I was encouraged that she had a specific number. She didn't share the rate.
Whalers: Pursuit thats probably long term plus state tax
KBoom: Rates and taxes aside- IF MONDAY is their C/E day- it should also be OURS- just imo
sherlockDinar: Pursuit- I know another group who were also told it will be on Monday as well- we will see
GoodGriefCB: I know a whole group from Houston that is in Admiral's group and they are not in Reno
PursuitofTruth: Good she isn't in Reno either but the representative is.

EarJocky: Some Bank sites down: http://sitedown.co/reports
Katz9467: Hard to say what's causing the site's to go down. However just maybe we are getting ready to cross the GOAL line. Time will tell.

[R&R] Are BRICS economies as strong as they used to be? There's a lot of recent news out there that speaks to those 5 economies weakening, or being weak. I'm no economist, but I just find it peculiar that we could consider them strong enough to pull such a move?...
