Tony: Good afternoon, TNT! Today is Friday, July 25th, 2014. I’m going to start really quick with saying thank you to everyone who sent us texts, messages and emails about the passing of our mother. We appreciate it very much. It was a bittersweet day for me yesterday, with my son’s birthday and my mother’s passing.
Ray sent me a package, a bunch of letters and things you guys have sent to him in the last couple of days, weeks, months. I was reading those today, and I really appreciated receiving those messages. There was a special one from Christine in NY, who invited me to their wedding today – that makes today good, knowing someone was making today special.
Today we will go through the information, tell you as much as we can about where we are at, and I was going to read off some questions so that everybody would spend their time on the phone telling me how sorry they are about my mother. However, I didn’t get any forum questions, so… we do appreciate your messages and comments in the chat room. Let’s try to do the call and get on with what we are really here for.
DC: Hi, hope you’re all well today, although we are sad for Tony and Ray. East to west… an overview and then details. In Iraq, they are more of the same, everybody is happy there is a President and Speaker of the Parliament. The PM is selected by not public. They are just waiting for that, but everyone is quite happy with the situation. The ISIS continues to be routed, and normal political stability is actually working. Everyone is ready, announce-ments have been made about announcements, and recordings have been done. They are just waiting for those to go out for the RV notices.
Many organizations are physically represented in Iraq now, helping out with various issues including the RV. It’s really hot in Baghdad right now! Anything else about Iraq, Tony?
Tony: No. Speaker has been announced publicly, and the President as well. That means we only need one more person before we get the RV.
DC: Since Tuesday in the news they have said, “We have a PM but we’re not telling anyone who it is!” Come on, guys.
Tony: There are people over there from all around the world, and not because it’s the vacation spot to be in. Also, we NEVER thought we would be making this phone call. That is how close we are to being done, but we’re not done because we are still waiting on that announcement. We’re closer than we have ever been; some people still don’t want this to happen. We were told we should have been here today, but… we are still good.
DC: Let’s go to Ukraine – that is causing a number of distractions, brought to the fore-front. Some who meddle have been spending time solving that issue because it’s a bigger issue just now. That is positive for Iraq and the RV in terms of freeing things up. In the US, the UN Security Council is ready to go; they are quite pleased with all three selections. They had a ‘come to Jesus’ meeting about ‘stop bickering and get on with it.’ So they are quite pleased at how things have turned out this week, with a lot of progress.
In DC the IMF is ready and coordinating timing on this even. They have to coordinate between all parties about the timing of this revelation, and they are still working on that. There is some last-minute confusion about final tweaks to the plan, and we don’t know on the exact time of that. Some strong sources have said there were complaints to the IMF, and some viewed that as delays – some want it this morning, others want it tomorrow morning. Many think the IMF is just doing what they are supposed to do, coordinating timing between the political egos in Iraq and across the entire world. I don’t think anybody wants that job right now! We are trying to figure out if the current meeting is just a few hours delay, or whatever. mI’m just putting it all out there as we usually do, not naming names, because ti’s not quite as clear as we’d like right now.
Tony: We’re confused because everything has been checked in the last 48 hours, and we were told we had done our last call. Now we’re told some people are being told Go, some are being told Stop. We do know that we were given three windows, so we will wait for those to go by. We were asked not to tell you those windows. Currently we just have to wait it out and see. We feel good with everything we’re hearing over there and over here, with the exception of the last hour and a half. We were looking for a great weekend. We delayed the call so that people could do what they have to do – we were asked to, and hopefully it would all be over by the time of this call. But it didn’t.
832 caller: Are you and/or DC aware of any significant strategies that would delay this for a significant amount of time?
Tony: I don’t’ know of a plan. We’ve heard several people say they want this to go to the 1st of January. As far as I know, almost everyone wants to get this done right now.
DC: There is not an actual plan. A couple of people have political or personal desires to delay this, and we are constantly dealing with that. Those one or two people are always going to be there. The nice part is that it’s my belief that many things have been clicked off and it’s hard to mess those up now. Steps A through N are completed and it would be difficult to mess those ups. So I am already encouraged by how much is now locked into place. It would take a tornado to dislodge that now.
Caller: We have in plan in Texas. After we receive our funds and before we pay taxes, Texas will secede from the US and name DC as president!
214 caller: Do you have your passport updated? You’ll need it to go to Texas afterwards…
Tony: Do they have border protection patrols in Texas?
Caller: A question for DC – what money would you use right off the get-go on land investments? Would you use dinar? Dong?
DC: Do you mean buying land with foreign currencies?
Caller: Once we cash out and have dollars in our accounts, does it matter which accounts we use for land investment?
DC: Oh. I don’t believe it will matter. Once your funds are in there and taxes are accounted for, you can use the money however you see fit.
Tony: You are buying the land with dollars. Dinar is being tracked by the UST and dong and others by the Fed. Is that the real question? So which bank account should you use? I think US dollars are US dollars, and it won’t matter. They just want to track it through their system. You don’t have to worry about it.
Caller: Since we are in the same area, DC, which banks are good here? [Did not catch the banks by name.]
DC: I think both are fine; I’ve heard nothing but positive things for both of them.
Caller: I liked what you said about your plans, and they are similar to mine. I’m looking for someone to work with on the food banks. Tony has my number, and I’d love to work with someone in the same direction. I’m going to have lots of land to support food banks.
DC: Definitely want to talk to you about that.
256 caller: I’m sorry to hear about your mother. I don’t listen to what others say, but Mtn Goat is now saying it won’t happen soon, that it will take several months to get everyone seated. What do you think?
Tony: I don’t think so. All the positions have been selected, and it just hasn’t been made public for the PM. I don’t think it will take months for that to happen.
Caller: I’ll be glad when it happens. There are churches I’m supporting. [appreciation]
425 caller: I’ll quit as soon as this happens! It has been a long time; I’m sorry to hear about your mother. I can’t talk right now, but thanks for taking my call.
817 caller: Did Pam lose my number? She’s supposed to give me a call. I’m in Texas and I guess you forget Texas…
Tony: I’ll give your number to her again.
Caller: You say we don’t want to talk about any of this stuff, that we are just waiting for one announcement. Will it really happen this time?
Tony: Once it does happen, I don’t see any other excuses or delays that can be used to block it. We didn’t identify it, or say when it would be announced, or even who it is, just that the announcement should be the last thing for the RV. The next caller is also from Texas!
214 caller: Condolences. Is there anything else that could hold this up?
Tony: Yes, there is something. We could give you too much information on this call, and they could use that to stop the call. People could go out there and make arrogant comments or threats, and they could use that as an excuse. They could do something crazy in Iraq. We cannot say ‘never’ in this situation. If you give people enough time, they will find a way to delay it again. There’s too much time in between there. I can’t say it will never happen, but there are things we don’t’ want to do because they can use it as an excuse.
DC: Some people have been fighting tooth and nail to stop this and they are still around. People are also working hard on a global scale to get this done. Once the PM is announced, it will be really hard to stop this thing from happening.
Tony: At least five people on our intel team live in Texas, so that’s why I pick on Texas.
423 caller: I am calling from Texas even though I live in Tennessee. I’m driving across to Arizona – I’m a truck driver, and I’m on I-20 near Odessa. Your earlier callers asked the questions I had. You and Ray are living testament to the great job your mother did in raising you with a sense of commitment and responsibility, that you even did this call!
209 caller: In light of the comments from Texas, I have a question. I want to exchange in Texas because they have no taxes. I live in California which has high taxes. Will I still be taxed in California?
Tony: I’ve been told that you can exchange anywhere but you will be taxed in your home state. But take advice from your tax advisor.
DC: I have a business in California, and I have to pay income tax on that business in CA even though I only visit there about one week per year.
954 caller: just a quick question – with the banking situation, once we get numbers will we be able to exchange up to 11 at night? What happens on Saturday and Sunday?
DC: That has changed a good deal. Our understanding is that they are back to the original plan: running 7am to 11pm, seven days a week for the first 14 days, and they hope to get everyone through during that time. Once they have got everyone through, then they will go back to normal business hours. We’ll know for sure when we get the package. Even if you live in a major metropolitan area, you should be through in the first three days, if you have been paying attention to these calls.
Tony: My niece is a president of a college in Ohio, and she says she goes to sleep listening to our calls…
602 caller: Is there any possibility that they will wait for the EID to make that PM announcement?
DC: There is always a possibility, but they’ve got it done and they want to get it done. There is a bigger issue that they are dealing with; a major player got in the way.
Caller: Will they go east to west, or will it go live all around the world a the same time?
DC: In the past, they have gone east to west when they have got this close. They have started with china, then India, Russia, Europe and then us. It could be the middle of the night, we just don’t know.
Caller: Will we receive the 800 number once it starts in the first country?
DC: I don’t think we’ll get it until it goes live in the US, and the US has (in the past) done it east to west as well, by regions. Technically they can do it live throughout the world and/or the country.
Caller: Several people have asked me if the permanent residency is still applicable for the contract rate.
DC: We believe that six months residency will get the rate, but the package should explain it all. We are just waiting for the package.
903 caller: [very fuzzy] I am sitting on G waiting on O. Hurry up and push that button!
Tony: I’m working on that as we speak!
671 caller: I am wondering if the groups have gone through yet. Do they ha e to go before us?
DC: Most of the groups are waiting on the public RV, and we’ll all be in there. People have been trained and ready for those groups to go through, so they’ll get them through a lot quicker. A lot of banks have said “This line is for groups and this line is for individuals.” They won’t necessarily go ahead of us, but in parallel.
807 caller: I’m from Texas, too. We don’t use buses down here, we use RVs! Last night Okie posted really positive remarks about you. He was also excited last night. With DC talking about this big player that got in the way, was that taken care of?
Tony: Okie’s comments were not involved in it, if that is what you mean.
Caller: Okie was saying how close things were getting, and then DC said a big player had slowed this down – was that particular person taken care of?
Tony: I thought Okie’s comments were great and he was giving you some great insights. A lot of people laugh at Okie and his plane landing, but he hears a lot of the same information from different sources. We talk to each other all the time to confirm information. Everything he was saying was correct, except that someone else stepped in and did something else. The people who need to know are aware of who and why it was. Last Wednesday they told us that we did our last call, but here we are. All we can do is report the news as we have it. Okie cannot land the plane until he gets permission, and people want us to push the button, but we can’t do anything here because we don’t control it.
936 caller: Condolences. Is dong going to have a contract rate?
DC: They are definitely giving a a contract rate for the dong; we just don’t know how prolific it will be.
Caller: One or two?
DC: There are two contract rates for the dong.
Caller: The market rate, you were talking about people holding back as the market rate rises. Do you think the market rate will ever surpass the contract rate?
DC: It might pass the lower contract rate, but some of the rates we are hearing, hey, take the money and run!
Caller: Do you think they will announce the PM in the next couple of days?
DC: They have planned the celebration to do that now, but it does have to be coordinated through the IMF and others because the announcement and RV are supposed to occur at the same time.
305 caller: I prayed this morning for you, and I pray for your family every day. You are our super-fantastic distinguished hero, and do is DC. My question is about the circle of trust; is that the NDA, and who we can talk to about all this. I have a disabled husband and two children, and I hoped we could go in all four together.
DC: Here’s the general premise of how this works: If a person is an adult of 18 or older, then they have to have their own appointment. If someone is disabled or your children are under 18, you can go in together. One of my friends is disabled and blind, and he needs to have his wife and attorney with him at the appointment.
Caller: I am the one with the handle on these currencies; the kids have none. The children are willing to sign the NDA, but we wanted them to be there, not that they are handling the money, but just to be part of it. They are 39 and 46 years old.
Tony: Those are not children! Those are old people!
Caller: The problem is that I cannot handle my husband very well.
Tony: When you make your appointment, make them aware of that and I’m sure they will handle it on a case-by-case basis. Say how much dinar you have and that you need two people to carry it, and I’m sure they will let you in.
Caller: Pam, you are the great woman behind that man; even if they throw you under the bus, you have nine lives and a survivor.
Tony: Pam is my third wife. My first wife is the gal I’ve been married to for 36 years. My second wife is our best friend who goes everywhere and does everything with us. My wife calls her my co-wife and they both tell me what to do. My third wife is Pam who is on the boards and tells me what to do, too. She says we’ve been married 32 years. Wait until my wife finds that out!
DC: Tony gets bossed around a lot.
954 caller: This is my first time on the call – I’m surprised!
Tony: I hope this is our last call – you made it.
Caller: As far as dinar and dong go, you don’t think it will go past October?
Tony: I don’t think it’s going to go past this month! Are there people still trying to drag it out? Yes, but right now we are looking good.
Caller: On the forum I’m still hearing it will wait until they seat the PM and all that… Is Maliki actually gone?
Tony: It could, but they would have to justify it.
DC: M is still around and still has some influence, like any other ex-leader. He is still in the country and would like to be involved in the process. The question is how much influence M still has.
970 caller: Condolences, love, prayers and appreciation.
Tony: A lot of people want their parents to be part of this, and we don’t know why it couldn’t have happened, but when it does, we will do things to honour them, in their name. Every week, my mother would ask, “Are they giving you your money?” We wanted her to experience it, too, and she will.
Caller: She is with you. She is taking part from another place. Do you know anything more about the reserves? I have dinar in reserves; do you know anything more about whether they will honour the contract rate when we cash in our reserves?
DC: Right now, that is being taken into consideration. The contract rate is the question, whether they will allow you o take that contract rate at the higher level. Our understanding is that if it happens today, and you are at the bank tomorrow, and the rate is $5. If you don’t get your reserves for a week, and the rate then is $4, then you will get $4. They will not hold that contract rate for you.
Tony: If the contract rate is $8 and the international rate is $3, and if you cannot get your reserves for two weeks, then the market rate might have climbed that high by then. Watch and wait.
Caller: If that is the case and it comes out in the packages that they won’t hold the contract rate for the reserves until you bring the actual currency to them, than you might want to wait on the international rate going up?
Tony: What I suggest is that you exchange just enough to pay to pay off your reserves and then take the rest to your appointment.
561 caller: Can I send someone to help you take care of your mother’s funeral.
Tony: We are taking care of it, thank you.
Caller: My brother is in Iraq protecting the new guy; he’s already been chosen and we are waiting for the announcement. I’m from Texas, too. [Appreciation]
904 caller: Bottom line, someone tried to hold it up, but that is taken care of and now we are waiting for the announcement? And still expecting it this month?
Tony: We don’t know that it has been taken care of yet, but we are still waiting for the announcement and we are still expecting ti this month. There will be an issue up to when we sent you the tweet with the 800 numbers and the RV is live.
Caller: Do we really see a light at the end of the tunnel?
Tony: Yes. All the additional stuff we are hearing, they are still there and they are pushing ti trough until they just cannot stop it any more. Good or bad, right or wrong, all those things are being documented, and they all help us come to a conclusion.
214 caller (Dallas): Is it really true that President Obama stopped this on Wednesday?
DC: No, he didn’t stop it on Wednesday.
Caller: Are people holding this up for political reasons? Or for real humanitarian reasons?
DC: I’m going to stay away from that. We spend days trying to fix problems we didn’t cause. For those in the midterms, the best thing is to have a stellar financial quarter. Everybody in their right mind wants 8% going into the midterms rather than 2%, and 5% unemployment rather than 12%. Republican or Democrat, you want the best economic activity you can get.
Caller: You said that we have to keep dong and dinar exchange monies separate. Do we still need to take it into a secondary accounts as well?
Tony: The UST told me a few years ago that the dinar may be taxed differently than other currencies, so just to be safe I would separate them until the final word comes down. As far as switching accounts, if you have wire transfers from your dealer, do you really want them to have a record of your account number? I would move them, just in case. We also recommend your buying a new computer with encrypted software to protect your data. That’s what I plan on doing because I don’t want junk emails coming it or others to have access to that computer, so that’s the faster way I know to do it.
DC: Another option people don’t think about is to have NO online banking with your bank account. It can be a good idea to have to go physically in to the bank for your big money accounts. Just take it back to old school and do that.
Tony: Pam is saying that’s enough for today.
DC: There have been a lot of condolences to Ray and Tony’s mother; she was an amazing lady to raise them on the basis of morality and dedication. We are all waiting on the PM being announced. Many are leaning on this to get it done. We understand that even if there is a little timeline slip, it will be minor.
Pam: Have a great weekend – hope it is the last one like this. I know it’s not just our members but all of you out there sending your prayers and condolences.
Ray: Continue to enjoy this fabulous Friday and look forward to the weekend.
Tony: We never planned on doing this call today, and we do hope it is the last one. We hope this is the great weekend you’ve been looking for the last ten years. Ray has been very strong and doing everything taking care of my mother in the hospital. He is a blessing for us to have in our family, and I thank him for that, and thank you all for the calls and texts. A lot of it is why we are on the call today. Life is going on, and we have to do what we feel responsible for. Mom would want us to continue. Enjoy your weekend, and we hope we will do another call tonight, tomorrow or Sunday.
Pam: Thanks, everybody!
