CLARIFICATION. I JUST TALKED TO JOHN AT STERLING AT 2:20 PM TODAY ON 2/22/2014 AND he said that they were out of the IQD $ 50 notes that were not available until august 2014. This is listed on their website beside the $50 IQD notes for order.
HOWEVER, ALL THE OTHER DENOMINATIONS OF IQD DINAR THEY HAVE PLENTY OF IN STOCK AND NO PROBLEMS; LIKE $25,000, $10,000, $5,000, $1,000, $500 AND $250 NOTES.
ALSO, I ASKED HIM TO MAKE SURE I UNDERSTOOD STERLING CURRENCY'S RATE ON A CE EVENT; HE SAID THAT STERLING CURRENCY WOULD OFFER A "MARKET RATE COMPETITIVE WITH ANY OF THE BANKS" AND THIS IS DIFFERENT THAN THE INTERNATIONAL RATE.
STERLING HAS LONG SINCE HAD FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS WITH BANKS TO BE ABLE TO REDEEM PEOPLE'S DINAR RESERVES AT A "COMPETITIVE MARKET RATE" AND WIRE THE REDEEMED CURRENCY IN USD TO OUR BANKS.
I CLARIFIED THAT THIS "MARKET RATE" IS SEPARATE AND ABOVE THE INTERNATIONAL RATE AND HE CONFIRMED "YES, MARKET RATE NOT INTERNATIONAL RATE" AND THEY WOULD NOT OFFER ANY "CONTRACT RATES LIKE THE LOWER AND HIGHER CONTRACT RATES" WE HAVE BEEN HEARING LIKE THE HIGH?? $32 DOLLAR/DINAR RATE OR THE LOWER??? $15 DOLLAR/DINAR.
I hope that clarifies the issue and puts people at ease.
