Iraqi Shiites pushing for al-Maliki's removal
Prominent Shiite leaders are making noise regarding the removal of Maliki as PM so they can get on with the formation of a new government....
they do not believe he has what it takes to sever the Sunni ties with the terrorists ISIS who are invading Iraq today......they also see a weakening link with Iran at this time.....the US is pushing for a government that is capable of blending with the Sunni's instead of alienating them as Maliki has done for 8 years.....what is clearly evident is that most all of Iraq and the world are expecting something different from the government....but Maliki does not have that same vision.

Maliki has only himself to blame for Iraq’s crisis
Maliki has been weakened it is believed by his own actions and in some cases his lack of actions.....his treatment of the Kurds over the past four years and his treatment of the Sunni's for the past eight years have taken a toll on his popularity and the belief of many politicians that he can rule effectively as the PM for another four years.....the problem that remains is in getting him out of office at this time of turmoil throughout most of the country.....while many parties and blocs have candidates to choose from can anyone say without a doubt they will lead Iraq in the manner in which they need at the moment and unite the Sunni's back into the government while at the same time appease the Kurds.
Barzani: Article 140 completed the presence of Peshmerga in Kirkuk will not talk about it anymore.

Analysis: Kurdistan Banking on Oil Sales
The Kurds have a taste now of selling its own oil.....that taste has been good.....as I just mentioned the Kurds are expecting to export as much as 1 million barrels of oil per day including the oil from the rich Kirkuk oil fields....the Kurds must sell their oil or run the risk of going bankrupt....the Kurds need protection....the international community is aware of this and it will be interesting to see how and who steps up to the plate to help them take care of business.
The Supreme Federal Court Rules Against Iraqi Minister of Oil's Request to Prevent KRG Oil Exports
The Supreme Federal Court has ruled against the Ministry of Oil's request in preventing the Kurds from selling their oil internationally.
The court claims they Minister's claims were made based on his on interpretation of the Constitution and failed to take into consideration that current constitutional provisions fail to incorporate any oil and gas matters within Article 110, which defines exclusive powers of the government....the Minister it seems was relying on laws that were enacted prior to 2003.....
better brush up on homework next time.....this ruling cannot be challenged and is binding....
a clear victory for the Kurds because this ruling will also have a direct impact on the international suit that was also filed by the government regarding the sale of the Kurd oil.
