THE FORMING OF THE GOV IS A VERY HARD STEP AT THIS TIME -- BUT ABADI IS THE MAN FOR THE JOB IF YOU ASK ME –  HE SEEMS TO BRING CALM AND CAN EVEN GET PEOPLE TO COME TO WORK -- HE IS RESPECTED AND IT SHOWS SO THIS IS THE BEST CHANCE FOR A GOV TO BE FORMED AND END UNIFIED -- IT APPEARS THAT THE CITIZENS HAVE TRUST IN HIM AS WELL.

EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE MOVING ALONG VERY FAST AND THEY ARE GETTING SO MUCH DONE IT IS SHOCKING.

[do you think we will see the government Monday August 25?]
It appears Abbadi knows what he is doing and he just might pull this off come next week.

...Abadi has some time remaining to complete his new Iraqi government. The Kurdish members of Parliament had walked out and refused to participate in any government actions last month under Maliki, but...Kurdish leaders are returning to Baghdad to negotiate and take part in forming the new GOI. While some have insisted the government would be formed quickly (like last week!), I don't see that happening - I believe Abadi and the rest of the parties involved will take the full time allowed, so we will not see a fully formed and seated GOI for about 3 more weeks.

Kurdistan continues to show strength and resolve - with the help of outside forces, they have at least partially reclaimed the Mosul Dam from the terrorists and IS looks to be getting desperate.

On the financial and political end of the spectrum for Kurdistan, the KRG has successfully exported and sold a total of 7 million barrels of oil so far, with the proceeds sitting firmly in Kurdish banks and nothing going to Baghdad. They currently have 2 tankers sitting off the coast of Texas awaiting a decision by US Courts to allow US companies to purchase this oil... the Government of Iraq has petitioned to block this, but it's looking like the KRG will win. When that happens, LOOK OUT! Kurdistan is currently producing 300,000 barrels per day and they are projected to go higher. With their pipeline to Turkey making it completely possible to export and their list of buyers for the oil they can produce, it's going to put a LOT of pressure on Abadi to push the HCL through and get the country working together... all good for Iraq and also for the value of the Dinar!

I was told that on August 22nd there would be a financial change...Now of course the 22nd is a Friday in Iraq but as we witness they appear to have the ministers ready to go for the presentation in front of Parliament. Guru talk has always mentioned 10 days before the rate shows, like Kuwait, yada, yada, yada...But it is amazing that Sept 2nd will be the 10th/11th day from the 22nd date I was given...And I believe they would open the rate at the beginning of a month and not the middle...So I wait with anticipation for 9/2.

>>>>

Nobody knows when the CBI will introduce the monetary change that includes a new rate...The most notible fact we have is that the GOI must begin drafting their 2015 Budget mid October. That fact alone tells us that the CBI needs to give them the new rate for the currency before the drafting of the 2015 budget, if in fact the CBI has plans to raise it substantially, which dinar speculators believe to be the case.

Article:
"Maliki to Italian Prime Minister: I will support the Government of Abadi and stood at her side"

Am I the only one who sees in this article this "ominous" quote (?):

On the next government, Maliki said he will stand at their side and will be supported by any of the site was as if he was prime minister.

To me this reads as if Abadi may not be as independent as we would like to believe.

I am particularly disturbed by the "as if he was prime minister" comment.

Think about it:

all of sudden Maliki turns in to Mr. NiceGuy?

Huh?

Something smells fishy here, and it gives me pause...
