Stressed the MP for the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Ala Talabani, that the dispute between Baghdad and Erbil on the budget for fiscal 2014,

So Eid al-Adha is Oct 4-6. 

Before that lines up with salaries being paid starting Oct 1 at the new rate.

Another data point saying this weekend should be a really good one.  Hopefully this is it!!

Yes it would make sense that they would do it this weekend. I believe that it has also been said in their papers that the Kurdish gov and its people salaries would be paid back pay by October 1st plus payment for the months of October, November, and December by October 1st.
