THE NEEDS OF THE MANY
Yesterday we stood to honor a flag and the FREEDOM FROM WHICH IT STANDS. Today we stand in support of a new DEMOCRACY that began it’s birth on April 30th in Iraq.
The highest religious leader in their land demands INCLUSIVENESS among all the Shia,Kurds, and Sunnis.
The obstacle to that reality is a man and a block that needs to be blocked.
The test of this new democracy is in full bloom! What we see is a healthy process full of debate and which appears to be quite messy. What? You thought it would be easy going from dictatorship to a true functional democracy?
My friends I assure you there will be a symphony since I already have a reserved seat. Since we went from the doghouse to the penthouse, we are assured of this success.
The ALPHA DOG Sistani has spoken, and there is plenty of magic dust to go around.
Give “ DEMOCRACY" a chance for the dust to do its work. Already we see newly installed parliamentarians hard at work.
The next scheduled session for parliament will be challenging if the plan fails to yield "INCLUSIVENESS" for the Sunnis and the Kurds.
The real battle lies with the control of the National Alliance.
In Star Trek, SPOCK used a phrase a lot, and I think it applies here.
“THE NEEDS OF THE MANY OUTWEIGH THE NEEDS OF THE FEW”.
Will the National Alliance realize the needs of the many, or will a political arrogance continue? At the risk of UN intervention my bet is still the same. According to their constitution they have till July 15 to complete their next phase.
Although time windows of success have eluded some of our expectations, I still believe,WHEN THINGS LOOK TO BE THE WORST, THEY ARE THE BEST.
An emotional slap may be needed for those who haven't realized that the real trade only began on April 30th. SLAP! There, I hope you can focus now!
My advice is to erase your experiences prior, unless it helps you be stronger. Remember the empire will never leave. We can't. The empire will succeed because failure is never an option.
Yesterday reminds us that freedom is never free. Too many young men and women gave their lives and limbs for just that purpose.
Our purpose, is to be on purpose for the rest of our lives. We must share our wisdom, fortunes, and faith with all who will listen.
There is a song I have always loved by, Larnell Harris called: "I CHOOSE JOY”.
Try to have faith and choose JOY the remainder of our journey. You made a decision to be married to this investment on solid potential, and that hasn't changed. The only thing that will change is YOU!
Think about that ! DOC
