has anybody heard anything at all?
my buddy is still waiting to exchange, but he has been on high alert since last wednesday...
Hi Saved…The only thing I heard was my dinar buddy telling me that we are next.
ISX starts trading on Sunday 26th - Sunday - first day of Iraq week. X-Stream is specifically for international trade - not local.
HK - Hong Kong Stock Exchange - Just reported regulators (CCTV) ready to go live (internationally) October 27th 2014. All speculation. KEEP THAT DATE MARKED ON YOUR CALENDARS.
Remember the Zim has no value at this time. They are expecting that the 100T and 50T will be of value soon. I really bought it just to be in the game .
THERE HAS BEEN A LOF OF CONFLICTING INFO ON THE ZIM...WE HAVE HEARD MANY RATES AND WE HAVE HEARD 6 OR 9 ZERO'S AND EVEN THE POSSIBILITY THAT THEY COULD REPLACE THAT CURRENCY SO IT IS VERY SPECULATIVE...DO NOT RISK MORE THAN YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE!
The issue with the Zim dollar is that the currency is not currently in circulation in their country. The could just as likely institute a new currency...
I read the article on China taking over the debt of the Federal Reserve-- they said thy want one rate for the USD in country and a different rate outside-- Isn't that what we have with the dinar-- one rate in country and another outside—scarey
Remain focused and sound of mind, lots of conflicting info, what we know for sure it will happen in due season and we all are going to be millionaires and billionaires… My personal opinion, VNN and DINAR, we know for sure when we buy these currencies the money go back and stay in Iraq and Vietnam,, but the Zim I'm not too sure
If Iraq has agreed to keep the dinar around $1 for an extended period of time, these are some methods they could employ....
DEFINITION OF 'CURRENCY BAND': A currency system that establishes a trading range that a currency's exchange rate can float between. A currency band represents the price floor and ceiling within which the price of a given currency can trade, and is like a hybrid of a fixed exchange rate and a floating exchange rate. The currency band restricts how much the price can move relative to a reference currency or currencies.
INVESTOPEDIA EXPLAINS 'CURRENCY BAND': If the value of the currency begins trading outside the band, then the country of that currency will usually revert to a fixed exchange rate. This usually stabilizes the currency's price back within the band. The Chinese yuan is an example of a currency that moves within a currency band.
DEFINITION OF 'CRAWLING PEG': A system of exchange rate adjustment in which a currency with a fixed exchange rate is allowed to fluctuate within a band of rates. The par value of the stated currency is also adjusted frequently due to market factors such as inflation. This gradual shift of the currency's par value is done as an alternative to a sudden and significant devaluation of the currency.
INVESTOPEDIA EXPLAINS 'CRAWLING PEG': For example, in the 1990s, Mexico had fixed its peso with the U.S. dollar. However, due to the significant inflation in Mexico, as compared to the U.S., it was evident that the peso would need to be severely devalued. Because a rapid devaluation would create instability, Mexico put into place a crawling peg exchange rate adjustment system, and the peso was slowly devalued toward a more appropriate exchange rate.
DEFINITION OF 'FIXED EXCHANGE RATE': A country's exchange rate regime under which the government or central bank ties the official exchange rate to another country's currency (or the price of gold). The purpose of a fixed exchange rate system is to maintain a country's currency value within a very narrow band. Also known as pegged exchange rate.
INVESTOPEDIA EXPLAINS 'FIXED EXCHANGE RATE': Fixed rates provide greater certainty for exporters and importers. This also helps the government maintain low inflation, which in the long run should keep interest rates down and stimulate increased trade and investment.
