I come to you today to give you a recent update on the election process and how this relates towards the international rollout of the IQD for Iraq.
Meine hubby has the kids today so I am clear to work on this news letter. This was done intentionally so I could dedicate time today to hike up to my favorite spot and put together the intel I have been receiving over these last couple days.
Earlier yesterday I was on the phone for almost 6 hours talking to sources in Iraq and the USA. I am exhausted but I am going to tell you now what they told me.
I hope you appreciate it. I hope it makes sense.
Note: If you have not read my previous news letter from Sunday 8/3 and Monday 8/4, I encourage you to first read them. Today's news letter, as in all my news letters, is a continuation of the ongoing saga of the IQD RV process.
Today I am having great difficulty bringing you this news letter. I say difficulty because some of it is contrary to what all of you have been hearing but what you are hearing is also part of the plan but can the plan be executed? That is the difficult part of news I bring to you today.
Even now I hope I am not sounding confusing because I spent a lot of time trying very hard to unravel this mess and find a way to present it to you so we all can understand it.
We were promised that the final nominee for the new prime minister would be finally divulged to us no later than Monday 8/4, but it did not happen.
We were told they would vote on the candidate in parliament and seat him on Tuesday 8/5 but it did not happen.
This Tuesday session was not just a date quickly thrown out to us. It was a well planned out date and was given to us almost 2 weeks prior by speaker/house leader Jubouri. So what happened? They obviously had a plan in mind. It was not successfully executed.
There is a game being played here. More monkey business! On one hand they need to quickly seat their government. But on the other hand the process seems to have stalled. How?
We know that the militant group ISIS is causing havoc and it is much, much worst than any intel provider is telling you in USA. This week there was mass genocide in the killing of innocent women and children. It was committed by its own Shite led Iraq Army and the militants with orders from Maliki. Yes – orders from Maliki and proof is filed. A major oil field was also taken and set ablaze. The Persmerga rages on to try to contain the militants and protect the Kurdistan boarders.
They also moved into other provinces outside of Kurdistan to try to give assistance, but when the do this they are accused of being occupiers by the Maliki government and so their aid is limited. Yet in these same areas there is no real Iraq army resistant to the these militants either.
It is like Maliki wants them to overrun the country by doing nothing to truly stop them. Kurdistan needs permission from the GOI prior to conducting any military operations outside of Kurdistan. They are not getting it. They are being ignored by the GOI in their request to help. So then who will go after these militants?
So this news of the militants not being so bad and being “contained” is not all it is being made out to be. There is definitely a game being played with the news media and I think it is still coming from the Maliki run media in Iraq.
Remember also they can not open the budget to begin spending it unless there is an RV. It is like a double edged sword.
If they RV and open the budget, and Maliki is still in any power position, he simply will swipe money and use it to continue funding the militants in the war against his own countrymen.
This is his vengeance for not being allowed a 3rd term. There is no other logical reason for him to continue this senseless support against his own countrymen.
This man is very tricky and smart too. He is masquerading behind the militants and using them to do his dirty work. As usual, later if accused of mass murders and genocide, he will conveniently blame the militants and claim he did all he could to stop them and prevent it, but could not.
We all now know the truth ......don’t we! Don’t worry if I know about this there are others too who are filing it all away for his trial later.
Now having said all this, use it as the background of information for what I am about to tell you next. This is important, extremely important !
So why can’t they just seat this new prime minister and get Maliki out of the way?
It is not that simple to do. Since the State Law coalition is still insisting on having Maliki as their candidate for prime minister. They have every right to summit their candidate and since Maliki will not step down. as he promised already 4 times. There must now be some neutral party involved to settle this dispute over who is the majority bloc.
You have to know too that a good part of the State Law has defected over to the National Alliance. This is good but also has caused yet a larger problem. Because now the part of the State Law coalition that is still pro- Maliki is claiming the are in fact now the majority since they are now part of the National Alliance, which we all know is confusing, illogical and bizarre thinking. But that is what they are attempting to use now for their justification for having the ownership to select the candidate for prime minister to present to parliament.
Besides they say they had the majority votes and so if many of these votes are now moved over to the National Alliance then as part of the National Alliance they should be able to chose its candidate. The sage goes on and on. Its simply a Maliki trick once again. Boy I got to tell you this guy is a brilliant politician. Too bad his heart is empty and so dark !
While all this ridiculous nonsense is taking place the militants are advancing. The USA is still refusing to give full support to stop the militants until they have a guarantee that the government is stable and has a leadership team that truly supports non-sectarianism and democracy.
It is the only leverage the USA has at this time. The leverage of holding up the revaluation of the currency in the past did not seem to work. Oh yes- this was also used as leverage. This is why when Iraq seemed to be more stable we still did not get the RV. They simply want Maliki gone.
So when will it all end?
My hope and prayers go out to these “good” leaders who are attempting to get rid of Maliki and his goons. It is a long process since he refuses to go peacefully. They will eventually force him out and probably carry him away in handcuffs the way things are going. But first they MUST seat the new prime minister and he knows this.
The longer he can keep manipulating the process and manufacturing crisis the more chance he has of creating yet more damage and chaos. Seems almost too unreal to believe? Well it is happening. It makes me sick to my stomach too seeing him snug in his pretty suit standing for photos along side the honest leaders of Iraq.
I honestly can’t hardly wait for the day when he is standing in an orange jump suit before the judge in his trial for crimes against humanity. The question now is will the Iraq people themselves get him or will the international Haige get him for terrorism and crimes against humanity?
If he should manage to escape to some other country almost certainly he will get extradited back to Iraq when they finally open his corruption files.
So yesterday’s session 8/5 was postponed until Thursday 8/7.
The agenda does say that they will first announce the majority bloc of who has the responsibility of presenting the candidate for prime minister to the president so he can send it to parliament for a vote.
Then they will announce the candidate.
There is nothing listed on the agenda however to vote and seat the new prime minister tomorrow so I am uncertain exactly what their plan is.
The hold up of 2 days (since 8/4) happened in a decision to allow the judiciary of the Supreme Federal Court to have time to review and conduct a hearing in the matter of reviewing the constitution and determining which bloc in the majority bloc in the election.
This bloc will then have the mandate for the nomination of a candidate for prime minister and form a new government.
This contention has been at the very heart of the all the problems so far with this election process since in having this they can move forward swiftly and seat the new prime minister and thus Maliki will be legally done, cooked. They still might have to still forcefully take him out though at the end but first his amnesty must be lifted.
Incidentally this amnesty law, for your information, was something to assist would be politicians to come back into the new government and help run it post war. The amnesty was intended for crimes committed during the war and not during the new government.
This too is going to change in the future as politicians will no longer be granted amnesty for future crimes committed while in the GOI. This law has been part of the problem too in not being able to stop Maliki in the past.
Also if you remember back in the spring of 2012 when Talibani wanted a no-confidence vote on Maliki. Once again the USA did not trust the honest politicians in what they were saying about their prime minister. The USA decided not to support the efforts of president Talibani in his decision. So they backed off. Huge mistake!
They continued to use the threat of a no-confidence vote on Maliki everytime he needed a spanking but he knew their game and so ignored them. As long as he has support of the USA he knew he was untouchable. Today that support is gone.
All parties did agreed to the court hearing in that this would be the final decision and they would adhere to it. I believe that if they have this hearing today, they might conduct the vote tomorrow and simply add it to the agenda.
Where does this put us for the RV?
Another parliament meeting is called for 8/7 Thursday, the day before the formal constitutional deadline for naming the PM expires on Friday 8/6. Can they extend it? yes they can extend it with notification to the judiciary. I am hearing there is a one week extension under discussion but nothing final. Can they afford to extend this for yet another week considering the militants?
If all goes well and the announcements are made and the seating of the new Prime minister happens tomorrow 8/7 we will be in an excellent window to see the RV early next week.
They may use this weekend to send all the updated rates and files downstream and do the final preparations. We could be at the banks next week.
Note – I did not say we would have the RV. No one knows for sure the date. I am saying our best window of opportunity. So please make sure you quote me correctly.
On the other hand, if things continue to linger on past this week we will be in a totally different situation since the militants are advancing and becoming increasingly more dire each day the support from the USA is postponed. The USA is logistically supporting the Pershmerga in the hope they can contain the ISIS until the US calvary comes to the rescue….lol….
Maliki is playing a poker game with the USA. Who will cave in first? So you see this is his incentive to keep the election process stalled and from completing. The longer he stalls it the more ground the militants can take and the more likely he thinks the USA will cave in and give support, regardless of who is running the government.
Of course he will still be in power under the interim/temporary government. The crackdown would then begin on his part. This would then send a signal to the world that the USA is once again supporting Maliki, which the USA definitely does not want to do.
The USA on the other hand is gambling on the fact that the Iraq leadership can quickly work out the new government and get it completed on time. It is all a gamble and in the meantime innocent lives and property is being destroyed.
So today’s news is not very good news but it could be depending if the glass is half full or half empty.
What do you think?
Once again for Iraq they are at that junction when the time to negotiate has almost but expired. They must now decide who this new prime minister will be. They can no longer hold up their economy and the world. They are the base currency for the GCR and so much is riding on getting this right.
The clock ticks. As we know Friday 8/8 is the official constitutional deadline to seat the new prime minister. Is this the end of the line for the USA? Do they have a plan B if the new government stalls any longer? Certainly Iraq is now in a crisis already. Can they wait any longer to give full military support against the militants? Surely they will not allow this country to become a haven for terrorists.
We must remember too who let the ISIS group into Iraq. Who continues to support this group contrary to what is being reported by the Maliki run news media. Who controlled the military at that time? Who was supposed to be protecting the Iraq boarders? Who tried to use the situation to his benefit for re-election and continues to pursue this thinking?
There is really only one person to blame for all this mess and for the delay in seating this new government. We know who this person is.
It is the OUTGOING prime minister Nori Al-Maliki.
Like I said in many previous news letters, once the USA begins operations in Iraq against the militants it will be swift and quick. The groundwork has already been laid out.
Today I intentionally left out some details in my explanation of the situation in Iraq. I did this to give you a simple overview of what is happening. I could have easily wrote you a 20-30 page news letter today with much more detail. I wanted to make it short and brief.
I know many complain about my news letters being too long but it is very difficult not to understand the background of events leading up to the current situation. So either you want to know the truth or you simply want a date and a rate or maybe you simply don’t care?
Which is it?
If I give you a tentative date and a rate and it does not happen then you complain and bash me for it not happening and you want to know why it did not happen. So now I am telling you both. So be happy and relax.
Anything could happen in this coming week. It is a very, very dynamic situation. There is a high possibility too this may take many more months to resolve if we don’t see some positive news from tomorrows session in parliament or by this weekend. Each passing day the militant situation worsens.
I do strongly believe Iraq is now at a crossroad. We know which way they will eventually go but will it be months to get there or can they pull this off in the coming days or weeks?
Do not think for one second the USA government does not want this RV too… like yesterday but there would be severe ramifications in giving the current prime minister what he wants….more money to fund his terrorism.
Maliki has already tried every trick in the book to get more money. Remember he declared an in country RV and loaded the Qi cards up with the new rate. Then months later he declared a Reinstatement. Still none of these tactics worked to get him his international RV, this he desires most.
He will never get it. The next prime minister replacing him will get all the glory and fan fair of finally bringing their currency online again with a full valued international rate. This I am certain.
I want to emphasize once again this final announcement of the IQD going international will not happen until the USA feels the Iraq government is stable, non-sectarian and is a functional government.
This is has been the plan all along.
They may have wavered a bit on how the plan was implemented but the overall plan guidelines have not changed.
Peace and Luv To Ya All,
