This is perhaps the most important article I've seen in alternative media. It exposes the tactics used by the mainstream media to frame and guide national discourse. In short, it's the specific steps they use to manipulate you into thinking exactly what they want you to think.
Once you read the article, the tactics are laid bare, and it's clear when you see them in action. Just simply knowing what they're trying to do as they do it can break people out of the thought prison they want to keep us in.

1. Lying by Omission – What is not on the nightly news? This is the most important question to ask when consuming mainstream media. The average hour-long broadcast consists of 48 minutes or less of actual news programming, minus, of course, the chit-chatting, the expensive motion graphics and the bumpers, highlights and story recaps.
