~~~~~ SNIP ~~~~~
This came from the spouse of an ICU nurse at the Dallas Hospital...
My wife is an icu nurse there. They did not have full (PPE) gear at first, (the) sick nurse only had basic gloves, mask and gown at time.
There are two nurses in question, one, the female nurse tested positive, another male nurse is "under observation".
Both took care of Duncan when he was first admitted...before they got the full 'gumby' suits. They just wore normal gloves, mask, face shield, and over garments.
This is what is recommended by the CDC, but it is not enough. Microscopic amounts of bodily fluid is all that is required to transmit the virus and it can live for days outside of the body.
